Daniel He is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Equitile Investments, bringing over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, and corporate venturing.
A Fellow of Cambridge Judge Business School, Daniel serves as Secretary-General of the Cambridge Judge Business School China Advisory Council, fostering deeper academic and business ties with China. His doctoral research on capturing value from breakthrough innovations was part of the UK Innovation Productivity Grand Challenge.
Before co-founding Equitile, he also co-founded H.E. Ventures, investing in sustainable UK firms and facilitating their entry into the Chinese market. Earlier in his career, he held analytical and strategic roles at FIAT and Iveco Ford Truck Ltd., where he contributed to corporate planning and market expansion initiatives.
Daniel has been actively involved in public initiatives, including co-editing the China Report with Cambridge Judge Business School and Caijing Magazine, sponsoring research on Chinese SMEs, and facilitating landmark collaborations such as the MoU between China Mobile and the University of Cambridge. He also played a key role in cultural and academic exchanges, including fundraising efforts for Cambridge’s 800th Anniversary.
Appointed CEO of Equitile in August 2024, Daniel is honored to lead the firm’s new strategic initiatives, including the Longevity Fund, which addresses global demographic challenges. He is committed to strengthening Equitile’s pioneering algorithm-driven Darwinian investment approach, emphasizing resilience, sustainability, and a fair-fee structure—an approach that has earned top rankings in both performance and sustainability. Looking ahead, he envisions Equitile expanding its active management capabilities, delivering tailored investment services that align with the evolving needs of investors.
